Looks sweet. You might wanna fix the texture misalingments in the first shot though. You sure you can support all those games types?

Looks very good but I think the startan texture doesn't fit in the level (first shot).
Maybe you want to try a metal texture or something.
I'm just giving you a suggestion, it's up to you what you do with it.

This looks more like Unreal than Doom. Very impressive work. The depressive grey colours give it an industrial, concrete look. ********ly like a factory then a tech base. Still urges to drop the jaw.

I agree; it looks great.

You might want to use more floor textures though. Using only the floor4_7 (???) will get boring.

Thanks for all your kind words, it really helps to know that people look forward to something your making, I'll try not to dissapoint :)

Wadauthor for the base work then doom builder for the texture alignment bits

If I could figure out how to add flats... :/ I R NOOB :(

Yeah it does look kindda like a factory, after I get some more detail work done though I think it will look more like the tech base its designed to be.. :P

actualy it came from a bunch of cyberpunk games that I used to play :)
Only the babel part comes from more biblical meanings now..

Get doomworld.com/xwe]XWE. Import flats. Create 2 entires named F_START and F_END and put the flats between them. Remember to click on each flat and from image-> select Save as Doom Flat. There You go.

Dude, we've seen plenty of techbases, but we haven't seen much factories. I would darken those textures, add some lava flowing (from the forge) and voila-something mucho better than Techbase.

Surprise surprise.. its update time O_o

I pretty much finished the rear room but I got some stuff to add (Pipes and what not)
and finalize the texture work... Thanks to people who suggested making this an industrial map. you get your wish ;)
I started on an outdoor area but theres a lotta work that has to go into it yet... I'll probably get back to work on this tommorow...

Did some work on it tonight, im starting the outdoor areas and going to (hopefully) begin the castle areas pretty soon
I need some feedback on the fog... should I keep it or not? Does it enhance the mood or is it a waste.. also feedback on lighting would be nice (including ideas on the brightness and stuff) Keep in mind that this will all be taking place in hell.
So without more meandering bullshit from yours truely... here are the shots :)

I brightened them up about 30 in paintshop... The outside light value hovers around 200

Did a little work, laid out the basic layout of the fortress, did a little window work... uh.. yeah.. Enjoy
