How do I bring up command prompt?

I am trying to determine frame rate and cannot figure out how to bring up the command prompt. Usually its the tilde (`) key. Not in this case. I cannot seem to find the command prompt anywhere.

you might wanna switch to flashlight or fists before doing this or your weapon will fire when you hit Ctrl with this combo.

Add the following string to the command line shortcut that starts the game, then plain old ~ (that we're all use to) works:

+set com_allowConsole 1

+seta com_allowConsole "1"

But nothing seems to work, maybe because I have a spanish keyboard, I don´t know.. any Ideas?

Is there any other way to activate the console?

ok, finally I got it to work.. for those who have spanish keyboards..

Ctrl + Alt + (the key that is under de Esc key)

the key is º ª and \ for spanish keyboards.
