Monsters behavior

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm making a DOOM (1) mod (detailed in "classic Doom, wads and mods").

I need information about the behavior of the monsters from DOOM 3 (cherubs, trites, ticks, guardian, vagary, sabaoth, wraith), how they attack, how many hit points they have (an estimation), how strong they are compared to the monsters that are included in DOOM/2 (I mean, in example, is the cherub stronger than the cacodemon, pinky..).

Another question, that probably this isn't the place to ask. Is it posible in Zdoom 63 to make monster attack in the same way as the mancubus but with a diferent fireball but without replacing the mancubus fireball. I mean

-Mancubus with its original attack and fire balls
And
-A new monster with the same way to attack but diferent fireballs.

I would assume from those figures that the Soul Cube deals 1000 HP of damage. So it technically does matter. 1 pt more and he needs 5 blows to kill.

Using DECORATE, yes that would indeed be possible, I believe.
