Sarcose Posted August 10, 2004 I have all the paths typed correctly, even to the point of being case-sensitive, yet it says the .exe is not found. There is really not much I can do other than double, triple, quadruple-check my pathnames each time, cuz I have no idea what other reason it could have for not recognizing the file. Any ideas? 0 Share this post Link to post
Sporku Posted August 10, 2004 Why not just make a copy of Doom2.exe in your dehacked folder? Either that, or you could try WhackEd, a windows version of DehackEd which I don't think requires the original EXE to use (unless I'm mistaken, which oftentimes I am) 0 Share this post Link to post
Sarcose Posted August 10, 2004 O_O I'm surprised that actually worked. Thanks for the advice. 0 Share this post Link to post
Sarcose Posted August 10, 2004 It's having problems actually running the hacked .exe though >_< I think it's just Windows XP or something. I NEVER had any of these problems dabbling with Dehacked using 98. Edit: Gah, sorry for the double post, I'm used to GameFAQs. 0 Share this post Link to post
Terra-jin Posted August 10, 2004 There's an XP thread ATTN'ed in the Classic Doom General forum... perhaps it can help? What kind of problems are you having? 0 Share this post Link to post
