Improve armor efficiency

g_armorProtection will change how the ratio of damage to armor and health will be calculated. Default is 0.3, I upped mine to 0.45

There was way too much around anyway. I didn't find it was implemented in the SP game very well. Since I was nearly always at 125 armour at practically any point in the game, it became fairly devalued.

i agree

if armor did more good but was much more rare that would have been better.

then again, on veteran im finding my armor is taking a lot more hits.

I was talking about the veteran mode. Armour just seems to get destroyed very slowly, and there's a fair bit of it around.

I haven't tried nightmare mode yet, but since I've heard ID were completely lazy with the skill settings (no variation in monster placement), I'm not too keen to.
