??? Doom 3 probs

Hi, my name is John.. and i have problems with this game, even tho i exceed the minum and prefered requirements...




minimum requirements say like a 1ghz some ram blah blah...


i have a 2.67 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4, 1024 Megabytes Installed Memory (1 gb of ram), NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X [Display adapter], and windows xp home -_-...


id like to know why it feels like im running a freakin 500 mhz on this game?! .. if there is any one that could give me procedures to trouble shoot this problem, id be very greatfull and appreaciative.. thank you

It's probably your video card - the MX series is actually a budget series, and they aren't very good performers. They don't support the modern pixel shaders either, meaning that most of the bump-mapping and such is lost. If you feel the need to upgrade your video card, I'd recommend a Geforce 4 TI series or better yet an FX series.
