looking for rip.wad

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I'm looking for a online resource where rip.wad (Rest In Pieces) can be downloaded. It is not in the archives.
At this url:
http://www.gamers.org/pub/idgames/levels/doom/deathmatch/p-r/rip.txt
http://www.gamers.org/pub/idgames/levels/doom/deathmatch/p-r/rip.zip

i found a zip-file that contains only part three to eight of that series. But i'm looking for the first part of the series.

First of all, I searched here for anything with Jeremy Drye as the author. This produced nothing, so I searched for "rip" in the filename. I then inspected those that looked like possible candidates. In this case, I needed to download the file to see the real textfile, since the external textfile (from which the information in the idgames database is culled)contained very little information.

Normally it is a lot easier to find files in the database than this, of course.

Thank you again, for the research tips, Mr. Holmes ;)

Looking for old doom stuff is an adventure of it's own!
