What was your best firefight?

Well since iv'e posted a Most annoying way you've died thread. I thought why not balance the equation.



for me, it was later in the game. The area where you retrieve the
door panel in CPU Processing was insane for me. I smelled a trap the moment I saw the Trite holes. I quickly dashed in, grabbed the door panel and dashed out of the room hearing the trites come out behind me. I started blasting the trites when I heard something teleport in behind me. I figured it was just an imp and switched to my shotty from my machine gun. IT WAS A FRIGGIN ARCHVILE! I quickly switched to my chainsaw since it was point-blanc and sawed away while taking hits from imps, cherubs, and trites. By the time I killed the archvile, I was down to about 30 health, but my soulcube was charged. I launched it at the imp I saw, switched to my shotty and killed the trites and cherubs left as my life recovered. I got out of that battle with seventy something health. THAT was the most intense firefight I've ever been in while playing Doom 3.

I think one of my best was in hell, when you pick up the beserk and about 4 imps and 3 hell knights came at me. But i was running around slapping em silly, not exactly a shoot out though. :D

after using the barzerk, no clue why hell knights dont use the tyson trick ( bitting you ) because they cant do shit against your owasonah punch-out powah!

Maybe that's because after you punch the in the balls with over five thousand pounds of force, they are really in the best mood to lean down and bite you.

My personal favorite fight, was in site 3 i believe. There were two hell knights and an arch vile that popped up. Grabbed my bfg and sent them all flying in the other direction. I thought it was pretty funny
