Plasmaburst Posted August 29, 2004 http://www.helvetet.com/img/vernissage/fullsize/536-1.jpg How do I align the ceiling/floor texture in Doom Builder? Sorry but Im a newbie :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Negatronica Posted August 29, 2004 You can't. You'll have to align the sector to the nearest 64X64 grid. Just move it 32 units left or right. 0 Share this post Link to post
marky Posted August 29, 2004 Hi! You can't and don't have to align floor/ceiling textures (=flats). They align automatically into the grid in which you place your map. If you want to make a teleporter, just draw a 64x64 square exactly above the lines of the grid. marky 0 Share this post Link to post
Nmn Posted August 29, 2004 Marky-not exactly. You must align the sector with the 64 grid to make that teleporter. 0 Share this post Link to post

Plasmaburst Posted August 29, 2004 Ah ok! Now it makes sence. BTW I have another question: How come I can't use sky1 , sky2 and sky3 as ceiling/floor textures? They're only available as wall textures.. thx 0 Share this post Link to post
marky Posted August 29, 2004 The ceiling texture is F_SKY1 and it uses the texture SKY1, 2 or 3 according to the map number. The sky is a ceiling texture, so you find it in the list of flats. 0 Share this post Link to post
