I don't think Skinny Puppy OR Coil ever did any cover songs. None I've ever heard (of), unless you count Puppy's Blood on the Wall being an homage to Throbbing Gristle's Blood on the Floor.

And neither is as good as the original. :P Actualy, the NIN cover isn't just a cover of Metal. The second half is the second half of Gary Numan's M.E. from the same album.
