If you are having trouble drawing a certain part of the human body, these are VERY useful.

These could come in very handy. I've been meaning to learn to draw women for some time, and this is the best source I can get thus far.

This thread isn't getting too extreme on nudity but just a friendly reminder in case you start getting carried away.

No images that you would not want your grandmother to see. This includes pornography, "tasteful nudity," images of ultraviolence, seizure-inducing animated GIFs, etc etc.

Lvangundy: Yeah i've had to take away that link (for now), just be on the safe side.

Otherwise Burne Hogarth's work on dynamic anatomy is where its at.

Personally I don't think you can learn that stuff correctly from a book. you need to get your ass to an artschool or some evening live drawing classes.

Maybe, maybe not. You can teach yourself a lot by just trying to look at pictures and attempt to "copy" them - that's how I learned to draw.

I always tought my old drawings were good, but once I've seen my improvement I know how flat they are. IMO, the point is to construct 3d objects on a flat surface, like a human's head is not an oval, but a 3d shape of a flattened sphere and a chin-shape (like half of a cylinder with the bottom sloped).
Loomis' books tought me a lot and they still do. The man is a genius.

It's a good place to start methinks. Otherwise as they tell as in art college; we advance more through questioning than through answers, so to speak.
