Windowpain Posted September 22, 2004 I wonder how some of the more hectic levels (16, 17 and others) will play out? Will the Wolfeinstein levels be badass or what? 0 Share this post Link to post

DoomDan Posted September 23, 2004 Scuba Steve said:what do you have against 5 level addons huh? HUH!? I dont really have anything against 5 level addons as long as the levels are good ones. "D3:HoE will feature several future localities, such as (tentatively) a battle torn New York, an ancient church in the Mid-East, and a desolate frozen section of Antarctica. New enemies, weapons, and characters are just some of the features that await you, not to mention drivable vehicles and an intense storyline driven by great cinematics and new voice actors. Get ready, because Hell is coming." That sounds Awesome. 0 Share this post Link to post

geekmarine Posted September 23, 2004 So... How long 'till this puppy gets Foxed? Well, alright, so it won't get Foxed if they don't do a Hell on Earth expansion pack. But still, I could definitely see it running into some problems down the road, depending on what id does with Doom 3. 0 Share this post Link to post
S1lent Posted September 23, 2004 Ya, if they do the city. The wide open streets are going to KILL a lot of people's framerates.... That is, if you even get to go into any really open spaces. Thats why I think ID purposefully made most all of the levels in Doom 3 small and close-quarters. 0 Share this post Link to post

DaJuice Posted September 25, 2004 Hehe, I didn't know there were two hell on earth mods, but yeah I've seen that guy on doom3world. I assume the one with the modeled spider mastermind is your mod. 0 Share this post Link to post

As a 18 year old, he have come to see his dad who works for the UAC to be sent on a mission to mars. Without his dad, things can get pretty basic and boring. On his birthday, over the news, you hear of the discovery of the first archeological site found on mars, and soon these artifacts will be sent to earth for further research. You think to yourself "I wonder what my dad is doing up there on mars?".' That's gotta be the worst plotline introduction ever. 0 Share this post Link to post

They made most of the levels small and close-quarters because that's where the game is based. They did have some wide open areas, and however few they were in number, they proved they could do it. If your machine ran them fine, they should run the city fine. 0 Share this post Link to post
