Kristian Ronge Posted October 4, 2004 If you have USB ports on your computer: * Buy an external DVD burner (with USB connection) * Buy a pack of burnable DVDs * Insert the burner into (one of) the free USB port(s) * Insert a burnable DVD into the DVD burner * Burn select gigs of music to DVD * Repeat the two steps above until all the music (or most of it) is on DVDs * Delete the music you burnt to DVDs from your HDD * Install Doom * Install program to extract stuff from WAD files (such as WinTex) * Follow Nmn's advice Problem solved. If you don't have USB ports on your computer (then again, who doesn't?), but you do have networking capabilites: * Get a LAN cable (one which doesn't require a hub, preferrably) * Get a friend to come by with his/her computer. * Hook up the two computers using LAN cable; set up local network * (Temporarily) transfer select gigs of music to friends computer * Delete said music from your HDD * Install Doom * Install program to extract stuff from WAD files (such as WinTex) * Follow Nmn's advice * Uninstall Doom and extract program * Re-transfer said music to your HDD Problem solved. 0 Share this post Link to post
