Source Port Execution Help

Whenever I try to execute a program through DOS, I get this message(tasmbf.exe is only one of the programs that this happens with:

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

Shortcut to MS-DOS Command Prompt - tasmbf.exe
config.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Does any computer-savvy Doomer out there know what this means and how it can be fixed?

Thanks,
Phil

What system are you running? (i.e. windows 95, 98, ME, XP, etc)

That error message only appears when you install or start an MS-DOS or 16-bit Windows-based program in Windows XP.

I recently ran into the same problem with an old Win 3.11 (16-bit) accounting program - that ms support link above fixed error and allow me to install it.
