GmailFS for Windows

Recommended Posts

use your gmail account as a networked drive in windows. you can drag and drop files right into the drive, and they are sent up to the account to be accessed anywhere you have the gmailfs installed. A few side notes:

1. You can only have one gmailfs drive installed a time (working on that ).
2. You cannot open a file directly from the drive, you have to copy it to your local machine.
3. The files come up as emails with the file attached, but are in a .bin format, so you can't just access your email and get the file.
4. You CAN gmail someone a file that is in your gmailfs drive.
5. The 10mb Attachment limit DOES apply.

So, check it out if you have a gmail address, and if not, i have plenty of invites to hand out.
