Volvo RICERs?!

Recommended Posts

Heh, i remember seeing a Barryed Volvo 240 saloon once (looks better than the estate i reckon, has a big leather seat in the back for shagging), it didnt look that bad actually..better than the tasteless shitty creations people make with dodgy moderns anyway, the best cars for barrying are 80's and early 90's Fords, Peugeouts, Renualts ect, though early Mondeo's are becoming quite cheap now, and ive seen some pretty nice mods done on those (and some tasteless ones too..step forward the lime green one with Evo spoilers in Cambridge). Of course Volvo 240's do have the advantage of invincible bodywork, they are what the cockroaches will drive after the nuclear war. It doesnt look very nice, but it gets you there (and is classier than a Lada, which does the same thing, slowly). Of course the best looking Volvo is the Amazon, it was quite sucessful in rallying too, back in the 60's (before the all-conquering Escort anyway)

Quite cheap Mondeos? Hah, the K and L-reg ones are practically worthless, especially given the mileage most of them do. I don't need to tell you what a poorly-serviced Ford engine is like after 100k.

Let us not forget those Volvo 440s that were in the BTCC back in the day. They were surprisingly rapid.

And also, wtf? Two car threads in one evening.

But for the poofs of the board, it basically meant i was too scared to overtake Minis, let alone Buses, cause it took about half an hour
