kristus Posted October 25, 2004 I'm sure most of you have noticed that the mapobject models such as doors desks and whatever fit perfectly with the grid in D3radiant. I jsut wonder if anyone know of how to do it. Does the grid of radiant match the grid of 3d studio/lightwave? Either way. I'll doodle with this as soon as I get room enough to install Gmax. 0 Share this post Link to post
d1g1t@lm0nk Posted November 10, 2004 well, from what ive experienced in doom iii, and even unreal tourney 2003 is that the grid is setup by powers of 8. for example, the player size in doom 3 is 32x32x64(32 units x and y width, 64 units of z heighth). so if you use 3dsmax/maya/lightwave/etc, just adjust the grid settings to show them every 8 units and you can make it exactly the size of the grid for doom 3. i hope this helps... m0nk 0 Share this post Link to post
