Murdoch Posted December 2, 2004 These days, TV does indeed suck the big one in my opinion. It's all either bullshit reality shows or boring, overblown drama. I like precisely two of the shows still on the air - Scrubs and The Simpsons. 0 Share this post Link to post
Anders Posted December 2, 2004 The best TV-dramas ever are, in no particular order:M*A*S*H A-Team Knight Rider McGuyver Charlie's Angels Mission Impossible The Saint CSI (the original one in Las Vegas) 0 Share this post Link to post
BlueSonnet Posted December 2, 2004 Too many cartoons to list As for live-action, can't think of many of the top of my head, though i know there's a few. Can't go wrong with the A-team i guess. 0 Share this post Link to post

Also, watching DVDs on a computer monitor is better than watching one on a television set! I disagree with all of those statements. 0 Share this post Link to post

pritch Posted December 4, 2004 Comedies are included under this drama umbrella? In that case this will be a list for ALL TV; 1) Fawlty Towers (sitcom) 2) Star Trek: TNG (sci-fi) 3) Frasier (sitcom) 4) Blackadder II, III, IV (sitcom) 5) Monty Python's Flying Circus (comedy/farce) 6) The Simpsons (animation) 7) Knightmare (gameshow) 8) Cystal Maze (gameshow) 9) Red Dwarf (sitcom) 10) Columbo (whodunit) If Laurel and Hardy counted that would go in at 2 prolly, but those are films really. 0 Share this post Link to post

Well, he doesn't belong to an english-speaking land... so keep in mind the basic definition of drama, and more so the root meaning in greek. Both comedy and tragedy are drama. I don't personally watch much TV, bah... but my favorite has probably been Xena. 0 Share this post Link to post
