doom2day Posted December 6, 2004 I noticed something at bootdisks.com, it has part of BIGDOOR6 and part of the picture for doom2 somewhere else on the website. I want to see if anyone else can find doom textures online. Prize? Well, how about spam delivered straight to your email thingy fresh from e-telemarketers across the globe* * Just kidding : ) There actually is no prize, just a spur of the moment sort of thing. 0 Share this post Link to post

Zaldron Posted December 7, 2004 I have seen that Hexen texture of several oddly shaped, bolted metal plaques (clean version, not rusty) in hundres of sites by now. 0 Share this post Link to post

Not only that, but that texture is also used in many many maps and even models (without credit to raven even) http://www.planethalflife.com/botm/screens/maps/maps/wilyslab1.jpg http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/q3weapons/wep08/kg-plasma/kg-plasma.shtml 0 Share this post Link to post

MasterOFDeath Posted December 8, 2004 I remember seeing a huge anti Internet Explorer webpage(from like 1999 or so, was pro netscape and even anti windows98) that was filled with stuff from doom. Background pics and music were doom, and it had some other doom stuff too. Heh, that site was hilarious. I should try and find it again.(Billdo, lolz) 0 Share this post Link to post
