There aren't any sites I *really* trust though. Personally, I only ever enable Javascript temporarily, when I need to use a site that specifically requires it for something that is important to me. 0 Share this post Link to post

I have never appreciated IE so much in my entire life. Not true - I'm running Firefox 1.0PR on Win98SE on a 933 MHz and 512 MB of RAM, and it's faster than IE has ever been (and that's with 25 extensions, too). 0 Share this post Link to post
gatewatcher Posted December 10, 2004 I've been using firefox since .6, and I have nothing but good to say about it. 0 Share this post Link to post
S1lent Posted December 10, 2004 I don't really get swamped with Spyware because I have a ton of anti-spyware/virus stuff. I payed too much for this computer for it to get bugged :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Sephiroth Posted December 10, 2004 unless you have something wrong with your system there really should be no reason mozilla or firefox don't work. i have never had it cause an major fuckups on any system i have installed it on. honeslty i don't really think IE is bad or terrible. The only real reason i grabed mozilla for windows is because it has a built in pop-up blocker and tabs. it is more secure in the sence people just havn't found the holes in it. I really mainly got it for linux because it has more support than konqueror for stuff like flash. 0 Share this post Link to post
S1lent Posted December 10, 2004 Personally I think that FireFox offers the most without all the bugs of Mozilla. A lot of the stuff on Mozilla is a waiste of space IMO 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted December 10, 2004 Firefox is what I use. I haven't experenced any loading problems with Firefox (with one exception CAUSED BY LÜT) and my computer is just a 700 mhz Celeron wit 356 MB of RAM. IE goes 5x slower on it. That's the main reason I switched. I could care less abotu security considering my firewall is tighter than a dolphin's asshole. 0 Share this post Link to post
fodders Posted December 12, 2004 UK browser business Deepnet Explorer today trumped global competitors Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Netscape and Firefox, with the claims that its new Phishing Alarm and enhanced pop-up killer made Deepnet Explorer the first known browser to pass Secunia’s new online phishing vulnerability test. http://www.net4nowt.com/isp_news/news_article.asp?News_ID=2540 0 Share this post Link to post
