MasterOFDeath Posted December 27, 2004 Well, since I don't play Vanilla doom as often as I should(:P), I played it and noticed that my stereo is backwards under vanilla doom. Is there anyway to fix this so I don't have to flip all my speakers and stuff around? My soundcard is a Creative Soundblaster AudioPCI 64D and a SB AudioPCI 64D Legacy Device(that part is the DOS emulation I beleive). So can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. 0 Share this post Link to post
AdamW Posted December 27, 2004 isn't there a flip stereo option in setup.exe? 0 Share this post Link to post
Use Posted December 28, 2004 You can't change it in setup.exe, however, you can add a value in the autoexec.bat for the soundcard initialization strings to flip stereo IIRC. Google it! 0 Share this post Link to post
AdamW Posted December 28, 2004 or you could just find the flip stereo option in EVERYTHING ELSE YOU USE. priorities damnit! doom is the most important thing on earth, hence *obviously* it is right and everything else has the stereo wrong. ayup. 0 Share this post Link to post

Gokuma Posted December 30, 2004 Sure you don't have your speakers backwards in the first place? 0 Share this post Link to post
MasterOFDeath Posted December 30, 2004 Yes, the speakers are the right way. Thanks for the help on some of this, but I don't really want to modify system stuff. Oh well. :P I actually forgot this thread existed entirely. Got too caught up in my christmas presents, one of wich began with "H", and ended with "alo2". :P 0 Share this post Link to post
