Noob question on duct tape mod

How do I go about installing it? And which one should I get?

From the mod's accompanying text file:

Unpack, copy the pak005.pk4 to your /base directory, and run
Doom3. Note that if you have any save games, loading them will
make them start at the beginning of the level. If you remove
duct-tape, then they will start at whereever they were before.

You should probably get the latest version that the author has created. The official site for this mod appears to be the following:
