Heh, sorry I know that I can annoy someone. Modarators, feel free to delete/close these threads (in wich I ask about the behavior of a monster) once I get a complete answer and I post in the same thread after that.

Now here are my questions.

A: Does it has another attack besides the autoexplosion?
B: When he autoexplodes, the explosion is made by fire, or by slime or guts.
C: If you kill it before his self destruction, does it explodes anyways, or it has a diferent animation for that?
D: Do they have the same speed as the Trites?

Don't mention trites... I finally had a first encounter with those flying babies... or are trites the spiders... I dunno.

Instead of posting all these threads to get information on your Doom2-Doom3 project, I suggest pm'ing someone you know who has played Doom3.

Anyways, the Tick is exactly like the Trite, except it's hp is a hair less than the trite, and when it can't find its target, it explodes, or explodes in the player's face..either way.

The Tick can actually explode? So far, all I experienced about it is that it does the exact same things as the Trite (jumps at you and bites away), it's just a Trite with a different hp, suckier sounds and generally less satisfying to fight.

The only time you actually see the Ticks, you don't really have much time to wait for them to explode, because they're right in your face.

Both Ticks and Trites can exlode. Trites not very offten I suppose.
