MmM Posted January 29, 2005 Photos aren't that great, as usual, and I kind of messed up on the anatomy/positioning of the upraised arm: http://www.angelfire.com/ult/ace/Updates.html 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted January 29, 2005 Hmm, I never noticed that they had 3 legs. 0 Share this post Link to post
Nmn Posted January 30, 2005 Very nice. Love the pose. I always wanted to try modelling figures :) Maybe when I'll get the new house I'll make myself a spot for modelling and get a bunch of greenstuff :D Thanks for idea :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Shapeless Posted January 31, 2005 Nice. I think she neeeds a bigger kaboose tho. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Relica Religia Posted January 31, 2005 Heh, just so you know, it's spelled "Vor". :P that's cool, though. You definitely have talent doing modelling like that. 0 Share this post Link to post
MmM Posted January 31, 2005 Are you sure it's "Vor", Relica? I'm pretty sure it's spelled Vore in all the instruction manuals (I've always thought of it as kind of a contraction of carniVORE) , but I may be wrong. I would agree that the lower body should be larger/more rotund, Shapeless. 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted January 31, 2005 I'm pretty sure it's Vore too. Them things are creepy. Great model, BTW. Sorry I didn't mention that earlier. 0 Share this post Link to post
leileilol Posted February 1, 2005 It is Vore. Actually it's a SHALRATH (Shall Wrath) but whatever floats your boat. 0 Share this post Link to post
DaJuice Posted February 1, 2005 Awesome, the Vore is one of my favorite creature designs. 0 Share this post Link to post
MmM Posted February 4, 2005 I added two more Quake figures I made yesterday, a Scrag and a Spawn. Same URL. 0 Share this post Link to post
Shapeless Posted February 5, 2005 the hell spawn looks like a funky ball blended into a base. were's the mouth? very important on that monster it having only a mouth for a face. and being nothing more but a jumping face. the vore is still my favorite of the trio. very dynamic pose :) 0 Share this post Link to post
MmM Posted February 5, 2005 I've never really thought of Spawns having a mouth myself, they just look like globs of goo to me. There is an area of the texture on the game model that looks like it could be a mouth, but I would argue that it's subjective. 0 Share this post Link to post
Thac Posted February 7, 2005 Pretty cool MmM; a bit skinny, sure, but great work on the overall structure, skin tone & blood spatter. 0 Share this post Link to post
Shapeless Posted February 7, 2005 I think it's quite obvious it has a mouth. 0 Share this post Link to post
MmM Posted February 8, 2005 Ok, you win, it has a mouth. :) I'll perform some cosmetic surgery to correct my Spawn figure and post new photos of it in the near future. Edit 2/9/05: I made a mouth for the Spawn figure yesterday afternoon. I also felt it needed to be blue-er, so I re-painted it with a blue wash. The new photos can be found on the Spawn webpage. 0 Share this post Link to post
