Nick Perrin Posted February 18, 2005 I made this song in a Mac program called garageband. I might put it into my mod-int-the-works as a theme song... who knows? Check it out. http://www.icompositions.com/auditorium/showphoto.php?photo=10781 It's inspired by the style of Frank Klepacki(Command & Conquer soundtrack writer). Feedback(heh heh) appreciated. 0 Share this post Link to post
AndrewB Posted February 18, 2005 Lacks melody, harmony, and suffers repetitiveness, but otherwise is okay. (I only listened to the first minute and a half.) 0 Share this post Link to post

Excellent. Somewhat of a powerful industrial sort of song. Slightly repetitive, but great. 0 Share this post Link to post

Hmmmmm, after listening to it it's quite good, you should donate it to a mod, you'know? Like the music that plays over the title screen in Doom3, I think that would be really effective. A little repetetive sure but the overall sound is pretty sweeeeet! 0 Share this post Link to post

Nick Perrin Posted February 20, 2005 AndrewB said:(I only listened to the first minute and a half.) There's the problem right there!! The best is yet to come. Anyway, thanks for the comments, keep on commenting if you haven't already! I'm making music for either my own little CD or soundtrack to a mod, so the more I can improve the better! I plan to make my next song more musical, if you've ever heard Frank Klepacki(which the style of feedback is based off) then you'll see that its more video-game music than good music. Of course like I said for my next song I plan to do a different, better style(more melodious and musical. Still no vocals though. You don't want to hear me singing(but at least I can sing in tune!). Edit: DestX, can you be more specific/explain what makes it boring? 0 Share this post Link to post
NiGHTMARE Posted February 20, 2005 You're saying Frank Klepacki's music isn't good? Blasphemer! :P Incidentally I'm eagerly awaiting the completion of his current project, the soundtrack for a Starwars RTS. I'm expecting Frank's take on John William's classic themes to be nothing short of amazing. 0 Share this post Link to post

And I only mean on a musical level, they're still great songs to listen to, i have both his solo CDs.(check out samples of them on his site). He's done some great symphonic pieces. 0 Share this post Link to post
