Aliens TC for Doomsday fix problems!

hi, i did all the stuff the readme told me to do, but i put the .wads in the data\Jdoom\ directory and the "Aliens Tc for Doom1.ksp" in the \kicksprofiles\ folder, and i cant find the game profile anywhere when i run kickstart! help!

I suggest a different source port... but to tell the truth, I never played Aliens TC, couldn't have the damn thing to install.. ;)

Alternatively, you can put the wad(or the pk3)
in C:\Doomsday\Data\jDoom\Auto, then it will load
automatically.
Remember to take it out of the auto folder when
playing other wads.

how would i get Aliens TC working on another port then?

Download this:
http://www.zdoom.org/files/lars/96.cab

Then unzip it into a new folder.
Then, place the Doom2.wad there.
Then place all the files from Aliens TC zip there.
Then, launch the batch file that will launch or the files, or just follow the installation instructions.

damn getting this mod to run is hard! i didnt manage to get it working on ZDoom

1. extracted the Aliens TC files into Zdoom folder
2. renamed zdoom.exe to doom.exe
3.installation seemed to go smoothly until i tryed to run the game from the renamed doom.exe and the .exe that the installed made, all i got was doom!

just run a dos promt with this:

zdoom.exe -iwad doom.wad -file alitcwad alitcsf -deh alitcp19

assuming you have the original version for Doom

I just tried it in EDGE 1.29 Beta2 using ESL to load up the DEH and wads.

Works great.

Quasar made a nice "fixed" version which you can find here. This is intended to work with modern ports like ZDoom, and includes fixes for blatant errors like slimetrails.
