Xenophon Posted April 5, 2005 Since this is for zdoom, the only thing you can do at the moment is adjust the offsets of the plasma sprites so that they are slightly more to the right, although it's kind of tacky. When zdoom has custom weapons support, making missiles fire at a certain angle will be easy. 0 Share this post Link to post
Nick Perrin Posted April 6, 2005 Not true! I've seen projectiles shot from the side before in zdoom. Take scuba steve's flamethrower for example, or cory whittle's Q3 railgun- both done with zdoom, and neither had changed offsets. The railgun didnt even shoot a sprite, it was particles! wildweasel Posted April 6, 2005 The projectile sprites were offset in CW-Q3DM1, as there's no other way to do it, and the Railgun was handled with the DeHackEd codepointer "FireRailRight" (I think that's the name, I can't remember). 0 Share this post Link to post
