No in the fifth solar system in the andromeda at the seventh planet, travelling faster as light and there was no time any more. The quantum computer had still control over the space chip and running in super speed on the absolute zero degrees -273 Celsius.

Ik heb het voor de grap nog eens nagekeken mijn eerste 3D game wat ik gekocht heb was Rise of the Triad en dat was in 1994 ( rond die koers ), daarna ben ik met wolfenstein en doom gaan spelen, dus ik zit er een paar jaar naast. No big deal.

En mappen en spelen deden we met een clupje vrienden en levels overzenden door middel van een modem zonder Internet.

Hier nog een mapje uit 1997

niet meer leverbaar.

Die heb jij toch niet net zitten maken he hahahaha,op zich wel een geinig mapje hoor lekker old school.
Toen was een doomlevel maken nog een pokkewerk,met die onstabiele editors.
Ik heb het zo vaak gehad met windeu dat ik lekker ver heen was met bouwen,crasht het programma.
Tuurlijk niet effe gesaved dus al je werk pleite,ja dat toetsenbord had het toen erg zwaar(als je begrijpt wat ik bedoel)

Can you stop using dutch? Or whatever this snorking is? It's not polite.

And also, sitters... if that's your first map - it sucks dearly. I wasn't Buonarotti either, but at least I knew how texturework should be done. You really did some tremendous progress.

Ik zat toen met een DOS editor ( weet de naam niet eens meer ) waarbij de per lijn de sector op moest geven front and back handmatig, dus dan weet je het wel. 1000 keer testen in doom.

I understand you pretty well. I didn't release about 4 or 5 my first maps either. Just toying with you, but you have to agree, that the OLD.WAD was *yuuk* And I was just relieved to know that I did better in my first days... But I don't think I still have those maps.

For a first map... judging that you aren't just saying that and its not just your first 'released' map online, you outdid me, and I've tortured people with like 4 megawads so far. though a monkey with all of its fingers but one cut off could probably do it as well. But you're by far better than that monkey with all of its fingers intact. I seriously haven't played the level yet. You must have taken screenshots of the best 5 areas if this is really your first... or you LIE. =D

Well like I said, I've done some playing aroudn before. This isn't my first time ever using an editor. It's just the first time I've actually sat down to make a serious, playable map. I decided I was going to take my time and really do it right. And I wasn't going to show it to anyone unless I was really happy with it.

That's the only reason for the maps to be released - when author is happy with them.

Updated shots and such at my WIP Page.

I'll probably get some more shots to post here. Any feedback is hugely appreciated. Especially ideas for how to improve things.

A. Are a potentially good mapper.

2. HAVE been mapping for years but only recently decided to release something or

D. Mapping for doom has just become easier over the years for whatever reasons.

Well like I said. This map was all about self-control for me. I promised myself that I wouldn't release it or even post screens until I was happy with the way it looked and played. I wanted to make something worthwhile, not a lame n00b map. Hopefully, I've acheived that. I think every area of the map has gone through at least two total redesigns.
