No in the fifth solar system in the andromeda at the seventh planet, travelling faster as light and there was no time any more. The quantum computer had still control over the space chip and running in super speed on the absolute zero degrees -273 Celsius. 0 Share this post Link to post
sitters Posted April 23, 2005 The quantum computer looked in his memory and saw how things started in 1956. There was a egg called jallamann ….. 0 Share this post Link to post

No big deal. En mappen en spelen deden we met een clupje vrienden en levels overzenden door middel van een modem zonder Internet. Hier nog een mapje uit 1997 niet meer leverbaar. 0 Share this post Link to post
0 Share this post Link to post
ellmo Posted April 24, 2005 Can you stop using dutch? Or whatever this snorking is? It's not polite. And also, sitters... if that's your first map - it sucks dearly. I wasn't Buonarotti either, but at least I knew how texturework should be done. You really did some tremendous progress. 0 Share this post Link to post
sitters Posted April 24, 2005 Ik zat toen met een DOS editor ( weet de naam niet eens meer ) waarbij de per lijn de sector op moest geven front and back handmatig, dus dan weet je het wel. 1000 keer testen in doom. 0 Share this post Link to post

sitters Posted April 24, 2005 Ellmo don’t know how the work was done in the early days. (He is snorking ) 0 Share this post Link to post

Just toying with you, but you have to agree, that the OLD.WAD was *yuuk* And I was just relieved to know that I did better in my first days... But I don't think I still have those maps. 0 Share this post Link to post
jplstatic Posted April 25, 2005 For a first map... judging that you aren't just saying that and its not just your first 'released' map online, you outdid me, and I've tortured people with like 4 megawads so far. though a monkey with all of its fingers but one cut off could probably do it as well. But you're by far better than that monkey with all of its fingers intact. I seriously haven't played the level yet. You must have taken screenshots of the best 5 areas if this is really your first... or you LIE. =D 0 Share this post Link to post
Cajun[CC] Posted April 25, 2005 Well like I said, I've done some playing aroudn before. This isn't my first time ever using an editor. It's just the first time I've actually sat down to make a serious, playable map. I decided I was going to take my time and really do it right. And I wasn't going to show it to anyone unless I was really happy with it. 0 Share this post Link to post

Cajun[CC] Posted May 11, 2005 Updated shots and such at my WIP Page. I'll probably get some more shots to post here. Any feedback is hugely appreciated. Especially ideas for how to improve things. 0 Share this post Link to post

Khorus Posted May 13, 2005 Looks cool. Most people say not to release your first wad. In this case, RELEASE IT!!!! 0 Share this post Link to post
doom2day Posted May 13, 2005 Still need a name? name it Insanity. Second wad? Insanity Revisited. : ) 0 Share this post Link to post
doom2day Posted May 13, 2005 Shtbag667 said:That DOES look like a nice first map. It looks like something someone would make after a few years of mapping. Better than my first maps, atleast judging by the screenshots. So I have to conclude either you: A. Are a potentially good mapper. 2. HAVE been mapping for years but only recently decided to release something or D. Mapping for doom has just become easier over the years for whatever reasons. Which one is it? Don't forget these two: Xy3D. You downloaded Doom Builder 666. You are related to John Romero 0 Share this post Link to post
Cajun[CC] Posted May 16, 2005 Well like I said. This map was all about self-control for me. I promised myself that I wouldn't release it or even post screens until I was happy with the way it looked and played. I wanted to make something worthwhile, not a lame n00b map. Hopefully, I've acheived that. I think every area of the map has gone through at least two total redesigns. Here's the updated screens: http://cajuncc.myrtlemadness.net/mywad/1.jpg http://cajuncc.myrtlemadness.net/mywad/2.jpg http://cajuncc.myrtlemadness.net/mywad/3.jpg http://cajuncc.myrtlemadness.net/mywad/4.jpg http://cajuncc.myrtlemadness.net/mywad/5.jpg http://cajuncc.myrtlemadness.net/mywad/6.jpg http://cajuncc.myrtlemadness.net/mywad/7.jpg http://cajuncc.myrtlemadness.net/mywad/8.jpg I'm thinking about releasing a sort of "beta" version soon to get some gameplay advice before I actually release it. When I do, I'll throw the link up here. 0 Share this post Link to post
Cajun[CC] Posted June 27, 2005 Well it doesn't look like the mirrors have updated yet. But the map is on the archive.3dgamers.com FTP in /newstuff. Filename is overrun.zip. When the mirrors update, i'll provide a link. edit: And here it is! http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=13662 0 Share this post Link to post
