Map07 on NM

Just wondering, are there any demos for Map07 on Nightmare?

Everyone knows that Map07 is impossible to complete on Nightmare skill. Maybe it's doable in co-op with the extra weapons and stuff, but there's just no way it could ever be done in single player. :(

Uhm, well apparently not. I got the monsters down to one arachnotron and then i died, but one more blast and it would've died, thus showing I could beat it without pacifisting it. If I can figure out how to record demos with Zdoom I'll start making a demo.

Map07 is like, one of the easiest Doom 2 maps to beat on Nightmare.

If you kill a monster in map07 on nightmare, the kill remains even if the monster respawns.
You just have to make sure you kill every monster at least once.

I saw that happen in a demo once.

You probably saw one that had some respawns just after the special tags had been triggered.

In a way it's a shame that it isn't as you described it, as it would make maps like HR map07 possible on NM (in principle, at least).

If not, you are 10 years late, this map is one of the easiest to do in NM.
