Sephiroth Posted October 11, 2001 i have been installing doom and quake LINUX ports but i get this message when i try to install"cant write, you may want to be in root" well so i boot into root but there is no cd drive, so how do i install these games, can i give root the ability to use the cd drive, or the ability to acces root under other logins.
