D64TC

Recommended Posts

its based on jdoom, so im assuming it still uses the -file command

just use a command line like this

(drive letter):/(doom folder)/(d64tc exe file) -file (wad name)

Uh, that should work. I've tried it.

Alternatively, you can temporarily throw the wad file in the data/doom64/auto folder, and remove it when you don't want it to automatically load.

I distinctly remember there being a version of KickStart that came with the TC. Has it been removed or what?

The latest version doesn't require the kickstart program anymore and has its own executable.

right, same with the music file. After I put it in there, should it be that map when the absolution executable is initiated or do I do something else

Leave the wad in /auto, then start up the TC.

Placed TEST.wad into auto folder, started absolution, games main menu starts (new game, load game, etc.), nothing is different. start new game starts D64's first map.

Perhaps that's because you set it's map number to something other than map 1.
