EllipsusD Posted October 14, 2001 Undying. Doom is good, but Undying has that gloomy/creepiness to it (at least until you get to Eternal Autumn) that fits a day like that. For any of you who have seen The Others, the Covenant mansion in the game feels just like the one in the movie. Good stuff. 0 Share this post Link to post
doomsick Posted October 14, 2001 any doom, all doom, all the gloomy day long... 0 Share this post Link to post
danarchist Posted October 14, 2001 I voted for Quake, but now that I think of it, playing Quake on a dreary day would probably set me off into a severe depression. 0 Share this post Link to post
Submerge Posted October 15, 2001 Nethack. Right on! But I voted for HeXen "Die you stupid M! Die! Die!" "Eeek! Run for your life! It's a &!" "Damn, God fried me to a crisp AGAIN." "Mmm.... dead Ws are good for you." "Argh! That violet h sucked my brain out!" "Eek! There's a rat in the sink!" "The amulet constricts around your neck!" "You are a statue" "Die? Y/N" 0 Share this post Link to post
BattleRat213 Posted October 21, 2001 I voted DOOM because I couldn't decide between it and HeXen. Other good gloomy-day games: "Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver" and "Shadowman" (though I suspect I'm the only person who liked that game) 0 Share this post Link to post
Lost Soul Posted October 22, 2001 Doom is appororiate for almost any day I think so I vote for it. But for gloomyness, Definitly Resident Evil 2. No wait.. that would require a dark and gloomy night... Errmm.. Yeah Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (play the sewer level, and understand why) and.. hmm. Yeah. Any Doom. 0 Share this post Link to post
