CodeImp Posted July 3, 2005 I strongly discourage you to edit lumps with DB that are not specific to one map. The BEHAVIOR lump is specific to one map, it is only used for the one map you are playing, it has no effect on other maps and there is 1 BEHAVIOR lump for ever map. That makes it a part of the map and thus its a good idea to have DB edit that. But a lump like, for example, PLAYPAL or TEXTURE# matters for the entire game. Bad idea to use DB to edit that. You better go with HobbsTiger1s idea. Use a text editor and a WAD editing program like WinText or XWE. You can find WAD editors here. 0 Share this post Link to post
solarsnowfall Posted July 5, 2005 Yea I've been using XWE. My GOD it's simple compared to WinTex. Haven't gotten to changing stuff that needs anything more than XWE alone, but I get the jist of it; Notepad - lump.lmp - XWE to add. 0 Share this post Link to post
