Weapons Don't Fire + two questions about hexen format

Hello, I'm having a little bit of trouble. For some reason on occasion my weapons don't fire in doom2 in a custom map i made. Like they'll make the sound, and the animations and subtract 2 shells from ammo(Super Shotgun) but no bullets(in the case of the shotgun, buckshot) fire. It almost seems like they can't fire into seperate sectors. I originally had the format for the map zdoom - Doom in hexen format, but then decided to convert it back to zdoom - doom in doom format because there was a few things i knew how to do in doom in doom format that i needed to do but didn't know how to in hexen. Do you think the conversion did that. I can shoot into other sectors on occasion but sometimes the guns don't shoot bullets. And i didn't do any dehacking.

Any ideas?

I just tried copying and pasting the line-defs and things and it still doesn't work. I also did shooting at different distances. It just seems like certain sectors and line defs it does it. It only shoots at point blank when i'm against certain walls. And certain angles.

The blockmap has messed up during node generation it seems. Try a different node builder. Run an error checker too if possible, but if you're using DoomBuilder that may be uneventful.

Hello, I decided to revert back to hexen format. I figured it'd be easier than trying to figure out why the guns wouldn't fire.

I just have two questions in hexen format. How can I make a teleport repeatable and how do i raise a floor, change it's texture, and remove it's effect like in doom in doom format?

I'm using Doom Builder.

It didn't come up with any errors. I can do it in Hexen format. I just need to know how I can raise the floor, change the texture, and remove effect like Doom in Doom format. And how to get teleport repeatable to work.

Threads merged and moved to the correct forum. Reason for merging: some of the comments in the second thread didn't make much sense unless you had read the first, and so would cause needless confusion.
