New Team Onslaught (Execution, Decamatch etc)- *Updated screenshots as of 07/10/05*

Luke 'Spike' Cama here after a VERY lengthy break away from the Doom community.

I'm looking to start a new wad making team, initially starting with a deathmatch compilation, aiming for 10-20 levels.

I will need at least one decent artist and 2-4 skilled level designers.

I guess if no one's interested in contributing then this will turn out to be my first solo project.

Here are some VERY early screenshots to show that there is currently work in progress. Obviously I havn't changed the default brick texture nor alligned most walls while I've been working on things so far... plus I'm crap at taking decent screenshots...

Good to see ya! I played Decamatch map01 a couple times or a couple hundred. Classic.

I'd definitely like to participate, hopefully I will have the opportunity as well. Sign me up, yeah.

I think we remade that level a hundred times before the final version you see in the Decamatch.

Vince/VKiller remade it again (twice!) in Execution too.

This is one of those things that makes me curse the fact that I'm already busy on maps for Skulltag .97b..... Don't get me wrong! I'm honored and happy to be making maps for Carn! This just happens to look awesome too.

And after that there is Apothem's T7DM....

Then CacoDemon Hunter..... -_-

Then SUBDM3......

Heehee. well, that's all stuff you'll love too when it comes out.

Didn't realise work was still going on with Skulltag.

Any screenshot links to those projects you've mentioned?

Oh, also I wouldn't mind having some webspace for news/screenshots on the project. Do Doomworld still host?

You know, those screenies remind me strongly of an unfinished map I have in my Doom folder... I called it 'Gae Bolga' and it was a castle/goth sorta map... Now you're tempting me to finish it.

Well looks like progress is halted for now. I've hit the linedef limit on my shareware version of Deep after I lost my registered copy years ago. Trying to contact sbsoftware to buy and be emailed a new copy, but they never answer their emails :/

Well, Deep is still being produced and still cost money. So I am sure there should be no problem doing it.

Contacted them over a week ago and again today, no reply.

Obviously I'm not paying $6 shipping for something 1mb big.

They're blatently on holiday or something. Oh well, maybe I'll leave the doom community again :D
