[Character Model] First Character model, C&C Please

Hey guys,

I did a character model and I'm getting relatively close to finishing it, however I'm sure things could be done better, this is where I come to you for help :P

Yes, oh my god, it's a furry... Thought it'd be fun to challenge myself with something familiar (IE: My avatar) The reffrences are below. Please tear it up, redline it if you want, whatever... Basicly, make me better... :P

Pretty obvious cylinder modeling, looks like there's quite a few wasted polys. Do the head and it'll be easier to say.

Heh, looks cool. Definitely lower polycount than the character I made (also furry) for animation class in college. Considering it's over 6000 polys including all clothing and accessories.

That's meshsmoothed with one iteration, but it was 6000 polys BEFORE meshsmooth.

Not really. The whole thing's pretty evenly modelled. I think the most polygons went to the face. The base model was only 3000 (no clothes or accessories, or eyes.)

I do like it, and as for the hands, could they not just be gloves? Because that way, the size makes sense.
