Weird graphics glitch

After playing Doom 3 for maybe a couple hours or so, the framerate drops and the graphics start scrambling into a bunch of triangles. I have RoE and the V1.1 patch.

Specs:
AMD 4000+
Radeon X850XTPE
2GB ram

Could be a number of things, but my guess is either video drivers, or your video card is overheating somehow.

It shouldn't be overheating. My machine doesn't have any heat issues that I know of, but there are some power issues here, maybe that's the problem.
