leileilol Posted September 4, 2005 yes, the legacy launcher sucks. Try manually doing it via command prompt, with -file. 0 Share this post Link to post

myk Posted September 4, 2005 Is this thread real? I never know. Just in case, this is an example of a command line (like Run on the Start menu) using the file parameter: c:\doom\doom8.exe -file c:\doomwads\yourwad You should have to used the right paths (folders where your doomstuff is) and file names (the engine and the wad), of course. 0 Share this post Link to post
Piezo Posted September 4, 2005 I'd recommend trying to play other peoples pwads first. 0 Share this post Link to post
k994 Posted September 4, 2005 heres what i typed in console of Skull Tag: -file C:\Program Files\Doom Builder\map.wad it says that -file isnt a command ????? 0 Share this post Link to post
Mancubus II Posted September 4, 2005 If Skulltag supports it, you can use the load command in the console: load where is the filename of your wad You can also simply drag & drop the wad file over the skulltag icon. Then in the console type map where is the name of the map (if your map is named MAP01 it will load when you start a new game). What myk is talking about is something that has to be done on a command line or the Run box. For example, Click Start -> Run and type: x:\path\to\skulltag.exe -file where is the filename (if it's not in your skulltag dir be sure to provide the full path), and x:\path\to\ is the location of skulltag (drive, directory). 0 Share this post Link to post
