mr8 Posted October 22, 2001 Yep ! Is there any site where I could find good demos recorded on Zdoom 1.22 ? (Skill 4, 100% everywhere it's possible) Or if any one of you have some (about all official Doom releases), it will be great to send them to me (if you're agree of course !) I know compet-N database (awsome & insane !) but demos aren't compatible with Zdoom... (I must see them under Doom95, oh no please !) I'm not good enough to dare making some records... (especialy when I saw examples on this site) I don't play Doom seriously for years. Well, that's said, thanx ! 0 Share this post Link to post
xit-vono Posted October 22, 2001 most people don't record with zdoom. I don't understand what's wrong with plain old doom.exe or doom2.exe demos. The installer for doom95 comes with the dos versions as well. Just go into the CD with MS Dos prompt and the rest is easy. 0 Share this post Link to post
Opulent Posted October 22, 2001 to my knowledge, there are no Iwad zdoom demos on the net. there are a good number of pwad zdoom demos though. and I recently did a zdoom speedrun through doom2(just for the enhanced speed and jumping). Doom demosites can be found on my DoomedSDA page: http://www.doomworld.com/sda/x.htm http://www.doomworld.com/sda/doom_sda.htm if your request is more specific, I could probably whip something up. (oh, but you said a good demo... well, perhaps we could meet halfway. :) 0 Share this post Link to post

DiSTuRBeD Posted October 22, 2001 screw zdoom. If you want good graphics, get prBoom (wich also has glBoom). It runs pretty much all demos, and looks sweet :) 0 Share this post Link to post

Crendowing Posted October 22, 2001 About you wanting to make ZDoom demos, either use the good old-fashioned command line parameter (i.e., -record filename), or use ZDoom launcher v26a. Both work for me in DOS Doom and in ports. 0 Share this post Link to post
