How to install Obituary ?

The levels run ok, but I can´t get the weapon patch to work, tried numerous times exactly like the readme says, using ZDoom/PRBoom.

I had the same problem, trying to run it with ZDoom or JDoom, the weapon sprites don´t work and there are other problems. Maybe the way they modded Obituary isn´t compatible with the newer engine ports.

I just noticed: the included deh-patch is version 2.3, but the latest dehacked is 3.0, might that be the reason ? If so, can it be somehow converted to 3.0 ?

Anyway if I run obituary with doom2.exe the weapons work, but I can´t get no sound on my machine with the dos version.

You can convert a 2.3 DEH file to 3.0 by simply opening it up in Dehacked and saving it again, if I remember correctly.
