TERRAGEN - Makes kickass photorealistic pictures. Use it to make kickass sky textures. If only it were'nt for the limited pallete then the colors would be perfect. You may need to color it yourself if it is nesecary

Let me post my kick$$$ sky soon.

Why do you think xwe is stupid, its a fine program no problems here.
I use it alot to load in textures and other stuff, you could always try wintex.
Maybe that one works better for you, your texture looks kinda weird though.

Textures? Cool.

I had an idea on remaking NMN corporation to a hi-res state, but some othe things got my attention.
Here's some work I've done:

It lived short :(
Making textures that way (both from scratch) is rather slow.. photos really speed up the process :)

Look at XWE's web site and you'll see my opinion about the program. If you're anything like me, I suggest you NWT or NWT Pro. Others recomend Wintex.

Yeah, XWE. Try it.

wintex is easier and more compact to load patches and edit textures.
however, xwe is the most powerful tool to use.

i use both of them anyways. i use wintex for textures and sprites, and i use xwe for lumps and scripting and such.

well, like i said, use wintex to do your textures. thats just my opinion.

actually, by my opinion, CodeImp needs to release some programs to go with DoomBuilder. like a coding program and a graphics program.

call one DoomCoder
and the other DoomDrawer

:D just a corny idea!

actually that doom builder thing is a good idea. doom builder creates good levels so i bet doombuilder would make good texture programmes

i might email them the idea. with the names you thought of too

Codeimp frequents this forum. note that there is even a section of it devoted to doom builder.
