Two questions (how to take screen shots & errors)

Recommended Posts

How do I take screen shots with Doom? I mean the original, not one of the newer engines.

I am done with my very first wad, but there are errors, like sometimes in the distance it gets that weird no texture effect when I know for a fact there are textures on all of my walls.

Download this Wad for Doom1, its M1E1, and there's an incomplete M1E2. Play the M1E1, and you will notice the error right away.

If someone could help me or tell me how to fix that, I'll put them in a texture or something.

Thank you to anyone that can help me.

Try the print screen key. Then go into a program like Paint and ctrl+v (paste).

In -devparm mode, F1 takes screenshots I believe.

Correct.

Zdoom automatically save your screenshots in a png. format by just pressing prt scr which is next to the F12 button. (Some people don't know that)

Did you actually READ the original post?

Speaking of zdoom screenshots, how do you customize the folder the screenshots are taken in? Is there a certain command for it? Because when I take screenshots in zdoom, they end up getting placed in my C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator folder. Anyone know how to change this? Thanks for any help.

Define a screensho_dir.
