I want to register a domain name but do not want to be tied to a particular host yet, so WTH should I do?

And I'm going to need a web host in the future that allows:

-JSP (Tomcat server)
-Java (running Java applications on the server)
-MySQL
-Unlimited subdomains

I don't want to reveal the details of my idea but hopefully it makes me a millionaire.

There are plenty of places that will register a domain name for you without hosting. GoDaddy is one of them.
