Do you want music that EVERYONE has been listening to for all the YEARS doom has been played? Or something fresh with the WOW factor for your personal wad or mod?

When I want something with the WOW/OMG/K3WL/UBAR factor I'll ask Damian (Lexus) to make me some music for the wad. Period.

Although in this very moment in history of space time I completely lack an inner subconciousnal feeling to do so. Strange.

I believe it's about the type of music which you wish to hear in the background while you play through your favourite DOOM maps, or something along those lines.

And personally, yes, I would gladly go with some industrialized trances of The Prodigy. They fit a classic tech-base map perfectly, IMO.

Even though Exploration Of Space and Back To Earth are great tracks I really can't imagine how techno could work well in Doom.

Its played at the end of the movie, but it's not on the official soundtrack listing. Only the Dust Brother ambient compilation is on the CD.

I've never liked industrial/techno music in Doom because I heard so much of it in Q3A and UT that I quickly got sick of it. I like to have some nice heavy rockin' tunes (usually underground 80's thrash, death, doom black or grind), but sometimes it's also cool to use PSX
Doom/Doom64 tracks.

I listen to Alice in Chains and Delta 9 when I play DOOMClassic.

I also notice a huge resemblance between several alice in chains songs and the DOOM II soundtrack music.

it seems that this forum is about musulated midi music. and you are asking people what music they want in doom

well here is some songs i have chose

1) telephone hell (my tune one)
2) werquian yonder (my tune two)
3) armageddon theme tune < dont ask i cant even remember what it goes like i just remember that i have to add it
4) a very old piano song < sometimes i just cannot use my imagination
5) all of microsoft clipart music. trust me its the best

and that is all. when it comes to tunes i will think of some strange ones
