"Good Night, and Good Luck" would be 8 dollars well-spent. I might get the DVD when it comes out. Some good points of the movie:

1) It makes it seem like it's supposed to be shot in B+W, instead of just forced artistic merit.
2) It might actually behoove you lefties out there to learn the history of dissent in US history.
3) It may not be an upbeat or tense movie, but the dialogue is stimulating enough.
4) Everyone fucking smokes in the movie, and smoking makes you look cool.

the reason why everyone smokes in the movie is because a hell of a lot of people smoked in that time period and it was accepted as a part of life. I have an ad from an old episode of the flintstone when they were in b&w where fred and barney sell cigs.
