The three best wads of this year so far would probably be "Simplicity" "Suspended in dusk" and "Scientist 2" (I haven't actually played the last one though)

That's all the wads that I can recall for this year.

My favorite so far has been Hi-Tech Hell. Great gameplay and probably one of the best looking WADs ever made.

I'm really surprised you liked it. It was an awesome effort to put something like this, but I couldn't play it long. After all it was just another Doom-Wad, in which most of the parts could have been done without 3D floors as well. I know I'm using 3D_Floors alot myslef, but you'll come to see that this is somehow different... and I'm getting fed up with wads that don't present new gameplay. Also, the music was not changed, which is a great drawback. That's why I enjoyed playing Simplicity, but not HTH

So what? It took me less than 5 minutes to define music for it that fit better. Half of the music that comes in PWADs doesn't suit my taste anyway.

Depends on your idea of fun. I liked the fights in HTH much better than those in Simplicity. I'm not a big fan of traps.

Me either. But even more I don't like dozens of wandering mosnters. HTH2 just didn't have atmosphere. And the UAC story is so often used, that they could have just not put it in here.

You know, there are tastes, and tastes.

I never found them. Maybe because I killed them before they could wander off...

No? I thought the atmosphere was great. I like tech bases though.

Who cares? And the typical path from somewhere into Hell is not?
