Question about a Bug from Doom Builder v 1.0

So far, I've only used Doom builder version 1.0 for most of my level designs. I did try version 1.1, but there was a bug in it when I open maps made by v 1.0. The bug is that when I open a map made with doom builder 1.0, edit it, and then resave it, some of the textures would screw up. Some line segments would have the same texture pasted over it multiple times with different X-offsets and it cant be fixed by any way except to delete that line segment, make a new one, and resave the map. I was wondering if this bug has been fixed yet.

HAHA! Yeah, I just went and look at the Doombuilder site and went "WTF?!?! 1.67??". I was wondering if having two versions of doombuilder installed on the same computer would screw thigns up O_o.

though, i should warn you that 1.67 has some major issues

you might want to look into the extended version Doom BuilderX which has some of those big bugs fixed

i forget the link for it, but its somewhere on this forum

Oh? What what kinda bugs? The frist version was pretty bugless (relative to the other map editor i've used before, the horrible WinDEU).

it randomly crashes every so often
and somewtimes it just out right closes without any error

but thats using builderX

if you use normal 1.67, you would probably get a crash everytime you tried to use the textures/flat selection windows

well, if that's the case, i'll stick with my handy but outdated v. 1.0 o_o. It doesnt crash on random.

TW, is that just with v 1.67? Or does everything 1.0 and above do that?

its really not as bad as it sounds if you use builderX, you just need to save maybe every 15min
which you should do whether it crashes or not :)

the only versions iv ever used were 1.64 and 1.67, and iv only seen these problems in 1.67. i think codeimp posted a link to 1.66 somewheres if you want to try that also
