Belial Posted December 15, 2005 A very nice mapset with a few shortcomings. Gameplay on e4m5 is very boring and repetitive. UDoom's monster set is not enough to keep that kind of map interesting and challenging. e4m4 has a similar problem. The ending was a bit of a surprise, and not the 'YAY!' type of surprise either. e4m8 did a great job of building the atmosphere, only to reveal 3 spiders, a cyber, and... an invulnerability powerup. I expected more after getting jumped by invisible hell knights. It's still definitely worth playing though. 0 Share this post Link to post

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA *g* Belial said:It's still definitely worth playing though. First i need to resolve that soundlag i have. Fedora Core 4 with zdoom 2.0.97 Any ideas? 0 Share this post Link to post
Vader Posted December 17, 2005 Great maps... at least till you reach E4M7! This map and in particular E4M8 were quite disappointing IMHO, what happened there? 0 Share this post Link to post
