low quality with everything off. And I get okay performance, I need more ram though.

Problem is, there ain't much to do past the single-player. There are plenty of SP maps for download; not much in the way of multiplayer mods. I was playing Co-op for a while there, but never more than 3 servers, fit to join in maybe 5% of the time. Everyone kind of skipped all that mess and headed for Quake 4.

My specs are even lower than that so I can't play it full stop. Also, you haven't specified who manufactured your CPU as that can make a noticalble difference.

My Dell box is a P4 3.0 GHz with 512 MB of RAM and a GeForce FX 5200. I can run Doom 3 at about 20 FPS on average with all the details turned off. Somehow I doubt your system is "shitty" because mine is clearly worse.

I'd kill to have your system.

Doom3 is currently my most played SP game, I´m constantly modding it and play every good custom map that gets released.

It´s just that doomworld isn´t the best place to talk about Doom3, because this site is clearly dedicated to classic Doom. doom3world.org is the first choice for everything related to Doom3.
